Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh will be suspended for at least two games for his third quarter stomping incident against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday afternoon, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. After pinning Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith's head to the Ford Field turf, Suh stomped on Dietrich-Smith's arm as he got up, leading to the officials to eject Suh from the game. In addition to the suspension, which would keep him out of next Sunday night's game against the New Orleans Saints and the following week against the Minnesota Vikings, Suh may be required to attend an anger management clbutt. Selected with the No. 2 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Nebraska, Suh is earning a $1.405 million base salary. A two-game suspension alone with cost Suh over $165,000 in base salary, though that is just a small slice of the nearly $26 million in total compensation Suh is earning this season. well, i think everyone agress 2 games is the minimum. i'm more curious about the article saying Suh's base salary this season is $1.4 million but his total compensation is $26 million ................ huh? how does that work?
Good...Hopefully a 2 game suspension teaches him a lesson. Suh has the talent to be something special. The dirty tactics on the field overshadow that though.
i looked at Suh's contract and his total compensation from Lions for this season AND last season is $26 million. This blogger's numbers are incorrect. Suh is not making $26 million this season.
