The Buccaneers were rolling along well in the fourth quarter, looking to score a touchdown that might have put the game away and then it happened, it being a costly holding call by Kellen Winslow that turned a first and 10 at the 34 into a first and 20 at the 44. LeGarrette Blount had run the ball to the 26 on the play, but that gain was negated. The drive soon fell apart and the Bucs were forced to punt. The Titans went ahead on the subsequent possession. This was not lost on quarterback Josh Freeman, who was adamant afterward that Winslow's penalty was inexcusable. "That has to be avoided," Freeman said. "You're in field goal range, if your guy beats you, LeGarrette is going to get back to the line of scrimmage. There is no need to tack on 10 yards. Our guys are out there playing hard. I would say it was a very inopportune time. That was a moment in the game where we really needed those points. We just keep shooting ourselves in the foot."

Winslow has a bullseye on him this year. He is costing us games on a weekly basis now.
