The issues surrounding Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson seem to continue. A report from the sideline indicated that Jackson was benched for poor performance. “I just wanted to give the other guys an opportunity,†head coach Andy Reid said after the 38-20 loss to the Patriots. Asked if Jackson was benched, Reid said, “I wanted to give the other guys a chance to make a play.†Asked later if he was satisfied with how Jackson played, Reid said, “You didn’t ask me that last week.
