Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh called NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Sunday to apologize for his on-field actions, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Goodell is expected to suspend Suh for stomping on Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith last Thursday in the Lions' loss at Ford Field. Suh, who was ejected, also pushed Dietrich-Smith's head to the ground three times. Suh, a second-year NFL player, has been fined three times in his pro career. Source: Detroit News
id be sorry too if i were about to lose 86 grand a week for two week suspension plus the 25k the lions are going to fine him plus the other 25k the nfl is going to fine him when ya play a sport a kids game and ya spaz out infront of the entire country giving bad rep to the nfl guess what ya gunna pay for it im so sorry for ya too suh youre a big man with a giant catyyyyy yyyyy y yy haha
maybe the loss of the next two games will knock them out of the playoff picture and make this action seem worse. like everyone said it goes on alot but not on center stage. Detroit should cut him and then we can sign him.
the lions and suh's agent have gone into full, emergency repair mode and Suh is now just being told what to do and say by others.
Suh is trying to get out in front of this.... HA! should have done this immediately following the the game.... Along with a personal call to the O-Lineman whose head you were banging on and arm you attempted to break. Look at the MLB Ump and Pitcher whose perfect game was ruined, and how those two handled a horrible situation. True class and sportsmanship!
Maybe if Suh wasted less time trying to suck Goodell's rod and spent more time trying to learn sportsmanship he wouldn't have these problems.
