Members on GridironFans.com will be able to discuss the NFL games as they happen in the new chatrooms that were created in the site's shoutbox. The chats will be open starting this week with the Eagles/Seahawks game on Thursday night. We will have a chat for NFL game and one for NCAA games. From now on all of the Gameday threads will be open for game discussion leading up to the games and will be locked during kickoff so members can discuss the action in a live chat format. This is all in an effort to promote activity and build more camaraderie between the members in a real-time environment. I hope people enjoy the change and I'd love some feedback from everyone on this new setup.
Awesome move SRW thank you so much for all your hard work and for continuing to make GIF even better and more exciting. I can't wait to use this feature, I think this is going to be awesome.
i rarely post or chat during games because either i'm not at home while watching the games or if I am at home, i'm just focusing on the games. I figure i can give my game thoughts anytime after the games are over. as far as the chat format for games, it is probably a good format as long as I will still be able to come in after the games and see the emotional in-game reactions from people talking about their team ........ that's what i like to read.
The Gameday Chat is now available via the site's new toolbar (only available in the 4.0 skin). To enter, simply click on the "Chat" button on the toolbar.
