Running into a pile of players at the line of scrimmage, and with one defender's hands all over him, Marshawn Lynch somehow escaped. Lynch's bruising 15-yard run in the opening quarter was only the first of four touchdowns scored by the Seattle Seahawks in a 31-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, but nothing was a better snapshot of the game and the team trying to tackle him. Indeed, as Lynch shifted into "beast mode" at CenturyLink Field, the Eagles showed just how hard it's been for them to escape least mode. Lynch ran for 148 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries and the Seahawks (5-7) intercepted Vince Young four times, converting three into touchdowns to win for the third time in four games. Playing from behind all the way, and continuing to have trouble getting out of their own way, the Eagles (4-8) suffered their eighth loss for the first time in four years. Source: Sports Network
You know, this team freaking disgusts me. I don't want Andy Reid fired but I want freaking Jackson deactivated, Vince Young cut and Juan Castillo FAR THE FREAK AWAY from the defense. Everyone considers Aso a bust. Why? Because he's a man CB and we play him in zone. That's why. Freaking bullcrap move on defense and this team looks like crap. I love Vick but COME ON MAN! Get on the freaking field! Way to just give up. Now we can spend a top 10 pick on another freaking Offensive Lineman!
Crystal clear that Jackson wasn;t interested in playing that game tonight. The fact that he didn;t even look back at the QB on several plays...it's a joke. If Spags is fired in St. Louis...he'd be a great fit in Philly...IMO.
Oh crap... is there even talk about him getting fired? You just gave me a partial. Let's get back on track here. Marshawn Lynch had a hell of a game. That mother hecker might be playing for a paycheck, but he is definitely killing it as of late.
