Buccaneers starting quarterback Josh Freeman remains questionable because of a sore shoulder that has significantly limited his practice time this week. Most of the first-team reps in practice have been taken by Josh Johnson, who has not started an NFL game since 2009. "It's forced us as coaches to do a little bit more work than we normally would, but that's all part of the game," Panthers coach Ron Rivera said. "If we get Josh Freeman, I think we're ready. If we get Josh Johnson, we're ready as well. It's really about what they do. They're a pro-style running game. They've got a running back (LeGerrette Blount) who deserves to carry the ball 25-30 times. "We just have to make sure we're good tacklers." Rivera said if Johnson gets the start, it could mean the Bucs will be even more reliant on Blount and the running game, which is the basis of the offensive scheme. Source: Charlotte Observer
