The Drug Enforcement Administration is joining the investigation of Chicago Bears wide receiver Sam Hurd, who was arrested on Wednesday night and accused of trying to set up a drug-dealing network. In a statement released Friday, the special agent in charge of the DEA's Chicago office says the DEA will assist the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Special Agent Jack Riley promised that the investigation would be treated like any other drug-trafficking case and that anybody who breaks the law will go to jail -- whether they're a professional athlete or not. Wait. The DEA is assisting the Department of Homeland Security on a drug bust Does this not make since to anyone else
