A Los Angeles coroner's office says the cause of death for the 18-year-old son of former Detroit Lions quarterback Erik Kramer was a heroin overdose. Thousand Oaks High School backup quarterback Griffen Kramer was found dead in his Agoura Hills home on Oct. 30. The Ventura County Star says a toxicological report shows the teenager died of acute morphine heroin toxicity. Friends told investigators that Kramer began foaming at the mouth while consuming heroin with them. Authorities say one of his friends took him home and laid him down so he could sleep it off but Kramer's son was found dead the next morning. Source: Detroit News
