John Czarnecki of FOXSports.com reports there is a lot of heat on Rams general manager Billy Devaney, who has a record of 12-50 since taking over the personnel decisions of the team. One of the team’s biggest disappointments is offensive tackle Jason Smith, the second overall pick in 2009, the player taken behind Detroit’s Matthew Stafford,Jason Brown, a major free-agent signing, is now playing guard after being benched as the team’s starting center. The offensive line was supposed to be the strength of the team but its play has been horrible this season and a big reason Sam Bradford is hurting and not playing. Coach Steve Spagnuolo is 10-36 overall and his control-freak tendencies have rubbed some players the wrong way. Owner Stan Kroenke, who keeps homes in Denver and Malibu, is said to be torn about what to do with Devaney and Spagnuolo, but some believe both could be fired at the end of the season, if only one goes, Devaney could be it.
