Lions coach Jim Schwartz didn't hold back Sunday night when Jim Brandstatter, the team's radio color commentator, asked him about the team's 45-41 loss to the Packers in Green Bay. Schwartz made it clear he was no mood to be interviewed on 97.1 The Ticket after his defense allowed Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn to throw for 480 yards and six touchdowns. "What do you want me to say?" Schwartz said. "Were we expecting that? No? We played poorly. We played poorly in coverage. We played poorly in man. We played poorly in zone." When Brandstatter asked Schwartz if he was disappointed in the sixth loss of the season, the coach then took it a step further. "I'm not disappointed," Schwartz snapped. "I'm angry." The poor defensive outing for the Lions overshadowed a record-setting day for receiver Calvin Johnson and quarterback Matthew Stafford. Source: Detroit News
OK....... Matt Flynn is good......... But 480 yards and 6 TDs is bullcrap. the Detroit defense needs an overhaul. I mean, I can't even get those numbers on Madden. Teams are probably gonna make trade offers for Flynn.
imagine what brees is going to do to them in the dome ........... it's going to be enjoyable to watch
