The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fired head coach Raheem Morris, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Morris, 35, was hired by the Buccaneers to replace Jon Gruden in 2008 after spending two seasons as the team's defensive backs coach. Morris had been with the Buccaneers previously from 2002-05 before spending 2006 as the defensive coordinator at Kansas State. Under Morris, the Buccaneers were 17-31, with a 3-13 and 4-12 seasons book-ending a surprising 10-6 season in 2010. Morris received "Coach of the Year" consideration and the team picked up a two-year option following the 2010 season, but the Buccaneers regressed significantly in 2011, losing 10 straight games after a 4-2 start.

Dude is a lazy coach with no control over his team.

I think everyone quit on that team. They have been damn right embarrassing the last couple of months.

Right move for the Bucs. I like Raheem, but he's not head coach material...
