ESPN reported Sunday morning that "barring a miraculous playoff run" the team will revamp their offensive staff. That obviously will not happen with the Jets losing to the Dolphins, and falling short of the postseason for the first time in three years under head coach Rex Ryan. Offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer could be fired after six seasons with the team despite having two years and $3.2 million left on his contract. The report lists Chargers coach Norv Turner and Rams offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels as possible replacements for Schottenheimer. Offensive line coach Bill Callahan is also believed to be a strong candidate for the job. Source: New York Post
