The Chicago Bears on Tuesday fired general manager Jerry Angelo after the Bears missed the playoffs for the fourth time in five seasons. ESPN's Chris Mortensen and NFL Network first reported the move. Source: USAToday
i know a lot of bears fans will be happy about this .............. he's had plenty of time so I don't mind this move
I love the move BUT the chance of Jerry Angelo's buddy Tim Ruskell getting promoted to GM seem pretty good. I hope it doesn't happen because i've heard that Ruskell and Angelo share a brain and that scares me.
yep, we knew there were several coaches in danger but i think more of these g.m.'s are falling than expected.
Half a hurrah... LS has earned a ticket on that same bus out of town. Sure, JA has been the architect of that POS OL/WR Corp but LS has been as culpable for not going to the mat on glaring weaknesses in personnel. All this has done is hamstring the next GM before he's even shown up by giving LS more power/pull than he's earned . Same BS, just in a different package...
