The Oakland Raiders plan to hire Green Bay Packers Director of Football Operations Reggie McKenzie to be their next general manager, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Schefter adds that McKenzie has been in talks with the Raiders over the last week regarding his role and power within the organization. McKenzie played linebacker for the Raiders from 1985-88 as part of his seven-year career. McKenzie joined the Packers' front office in 1994 and was promoted to director of pro personnel in 1997. McKenzie was promoted to his current position in 2008. Source: Mac's Football Blog
Would be a great hire by the Raiders, but right now because of league rules, this is total speculation and total guess work on the part of Schefter.
