The Broncos have denied all week that Tim Tebow’s job is in jeopardy as the team’s Sunday afternoon playoff showdown with the Steelers approaches. But now there’s evidence that Brady Quinn is their man, as a source tells Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk that the Broncos have been installing specific packages for Quinn. PFT has already reported that Quinn has received roughly half the reps with the first-team offense in practice this week, and now we have specifics. Florio’s source says that John Fox’s Broncos have installed specific packages for Quinn on second-and-long and third-and-long situations. Tebow was a sensation for the Broncos earlier this season but he’s struggled mightily in his last three, however, all Denver losses. Source: Sports Illustrated
Makes sense, Fox needs to coach a desperate game, pull everything out or they may not cross the 50 on offense
