The New York Giants have the momentum and confidence to make another Super Bowl run. Just ask them. Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul predicted victory over the Green Bay Packers next Sunday, and provided them with early bulletin-board material. "We are very confident," said Pierre-Paul, after the Giants punished the Falcons 24-2 in an NFC wild-card game. "Last time [the Packers] came in here and they beat us (38-35 on Dec. 4), which they shouldn't have. It's going to be cold and the atmosphere will be theirs, but we're going to be ready to play. We know what's at stake, and we know it's one–and-done. We aren't going to let that happen. We are going to go out there and give all out effort, and we are going to walk away with a win." So has this been printed out and posted in every Packer player's locker yet? If not the Pack better get someone on this STAT.
I mean, it's what every player should be saying... I don't have any real problem with it. Aside from it very likely being completely wrong.
Remember when Plaxico predicted a win over the Patriots? Who thought that would come true, well it did. I'm not saying this is going to come true, all I'm saying is the Giants were one of the teams that came the closest to beating the Packers in the regular season, other than the Chiefs, which was a freaking fluke. It's gonna be a good game, all I'm gonna say.
