Did MetLife get a roof lately? Because an outdoor WM in April probably won't work. Maybe a SummerSlam or something but not Mania.

I heard that New York was decided on for WM30 so that would seem the likely one to be held at the Met.

But as said, Outdoor New York in early April certainly won't be fun for the wrestlers.

It won't be the wrestlers who aren't too happy with it. It'll be the fans sitting in the 50 degree weather, hopefully. I just don't see that happening unless a dome magically happens. They could do it in Seattle because they had a roof and heat.

The thing I hate about working shows outside is..you can't control the weather. Get a dome, or don't do the show.

It's likely will be 30 cause the rumour is WM 29 will be in the Jerry House in Dallas

  7. Actually, I heard it's the other way around and WrestleMania 30 will be in Cowboys Stadium.

Vince McMahon wants to hold the first major event at MetLife before Super Bowl 48. I don't think they want to hold the Super Bowl and WrestleMania in the same year in the same venue.

This is kind of a goobered idea for the WWE if you ask me...

  9. MetLife Stadium is the largest in the NFL in terms of seating capacity. And with floor and ringside seating, nearly 90,000 may show up for the event.

The WWE probably is aiming to set a new WrestleMania attendance record. And they want to hold the first major event before the Super Bowl comes to town in 2014. Should be a booming two years for East Rutherford.

I am surprised because what if it rains, what if it snows, what if theres a thunderstorm in the area, what if its 42 degrees out with windgusts that make it feel 25?

HOW THE FREAK are you going to hold WM in a stadium where any one of these scenarios could heck the whole thing up?

FedEx Field (Redskins Home Field)is the largest in terms of seating capacity, I think they have like 91,000.

WM30 will be at MSG, the McMahon's feel it should be there every ten years (WM 1, WM 10, WM 20). It's the company's mecca.

If they have Mania at MSG they'll lose a TON of money. Never happen. But I don't see how it can be at MetLife either. In March/April you're talking 30-50 depending on the season and if there's a blizzard it'll completely heck up the whole show. But I can see them having SummerSlam at MetLife. It's early enough that it shouldn't heck with football but Mania will be cold, wet and potentially white.

Did they ever do an outdoor venue as far as a stadium? Wasn't one on a ship?

  18. That wasn't WM........it was a Body Slam challenge from Yokozuna following his win over Hulk Hogan at KOTR '93.
