The Cowboys have signed linebacker Brashton Satele to a "futures" contract. Satele signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets in 2010. He played college football at Hawaii. Satele (6-0, 250) suffered an ankle injury in training camp in 2010 with the Jets and was released by team during the final roster cuts on Sept. 4, 2010. He was signed to the Jets' practice squad on Dec. 8, 2010 and following the season signed a futures contract with the Jets on Jan. 25, 2011. He was waived on Sept. 2. Satele, who was born in Mililani, Hawaii, suffered a left shoulder injury (a torn labrum) in August 2009 and missed his last season with Hawaii. Source: Dallas Morning News
