Jeff Fisher will coach the St. Louis Rams this season, a league source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN. Fisher also was a strong candidate to fill the Miami Dolphins' opening. Fisher sat out the entire 2011 season after being fired by the Tennessee Titans in January. He had served as coach of the franchise for 16 full seasons, including before the Titans moved from Houston to Tennessee.

well, if this is reality, he's got his work cut out for him. there is 'some' talent there but his RB has a lot of miles, his QB's head doesn't seem to be on straight, and the team doesn't even seem to be solidly firm in the city they reside.

i've always felt fisher was a very good, innovative head coach so we'll see what he can do.
