Luck is expected to be chosen with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, where he'll replace Manning, but he is willing to sit for a season if the situation calls for it. "I think like any competitor you want to play," Luck told Will Brinson of CBSSports.com on Thursday. "But if that's what the situation calls for, then put your best foot forward." Sitting is not something Luck will have to worry about, especially in Indianapolis. As the No. 1 overall pick, Luck will receive over $15 million in Year One compensation and with the benefit of a full off-season and training camp, he should be ready to start in Week One of the 2012 regular season. With the Colts holding a $28 million option bonus on Manning, who is due $7.4 million in base salary, there's little chance that the team will spend $50 million on the quarterback position in 2012.
