Tiquan Underwood will not lose anything, except the chance to dress for the game, becasue he was cut by the Patriots on the eve of Super Bowl XLVI. The wide receiver, who was released in favor of former Rutgers teammate Alex Silvestro, will be paid the same as everyone else on the team. Anyone who plays in at least eight games for a team - and Underwood dressed for exactly eight for the Pats - is entitled to full pay even if he is released, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday. That means Underwood will receive $88,000 if New England wins, $44,000 if the Giants win. He also will receive a ring as every other member of the team will if the Pats win. By his tweets, he is playing it off as if he's not mad. If I was him I would be wanting them to win just so I could get my damn ring lol.
