Dave Hyde of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports a North Carolina pastor and Redskins fan was visiting Washington for his daughter's volleyball tournament and saw Haslett, the Washington defensive coordinator, at a hotel restaurant. He approached Haslett, talked with him for five minutes ... and a few days later posted this blog on the web site Hog Haven. From their conversation, pastor Rod Denny related how Haslett said (a) the Redskins weren't that interested in Matt Flynn, (b) wanted Peyton Manning and (c) were trying to trade up to get Robert Griffin III. That touched off a media storm in which Haslett denied saying this to every Washington paper and radio station. The fan stands behind his story. Source: The Redzone
If Haslett really said these things and is trying to throw this dude under the bus because he hecked up..seriously heck him
If Haslett really said that to some random dude he meant in a restaurant hes a moron. Hes been in the business long enough to know better. Way to show your cards dipcrap.
exactly I think maybe the fan asked and Jim said something like, maybe, or I cant say that, and the fan took it a different way. Or something like that.Maybe he said, any team wants Peyton, ect.
I'm sure the fan asked him if they were interested in Peyton and he said of course they'd be interested and asked if they wanted Matt Flynn and he said no and asked if they'd want to trade up and Haslett said maybe. I'm sure it wasn't something as simple as that. To be honest, I doubt that Haslett even knows that much of the plan in regards to what's going to happen with the QB. I don't even think Shanny knows what the heck is going on.
wow the redskins need a QB and are interested in both peyton manning an all time great and RG3 a super rare prospect and the consensus #2 QB in the draft...im SHOCKED
