Howard Eskin of WIP Radio reports that the Washington Redskins are prepared to offer the St Louis Rams their #1, #2 and #3 picks this year along with another #1 in 2013 to move up for Robert Griffin III. That’s almost an impossible deal to pass up if you’re the Rams. Griffin has solidified his status as the possibly the second-best player in this year’s draft. Washington knows that they’ll have to make a serious attempt to upgrade the quarterback position significantly during the offseason but making a play for a young quarterback like RGIII could buy Mike Shanahan some extra years as the team’s head coach.

Honestly, that could be a career killer. They'd heck with that kid before he even has a chance to do anything.

    Yessssss

No way we match that, that'll leave the Browns filling other holes and using their picks more productively. Let Colt and Seneca compete. Or whatever, sign Flynn if they really want him but I can look forward to another full draft class this year with this news.

IMO, Shannahan needs to be looking at Flynn. He has had two really bad seasons, and not much is gonna save them from a 3rd losing season. I wouldnt be shocked if he's crapcanned if he doesnt make the playoffs this year, which I really dont see

i agree. obviously they can't know 100% for certain, but if they consider RG3 to be the next manning or brady, it's really not a huge price.

eh, he's actually a perfect fit for the strong pass rushes of the eagles, cowboys, and giants. he could throw a wrench in their typical pass rush schemes by improvising or by having planned roll-outs or other designed plays to use his speed against their rush.

if their coaches would do it right, they could use a collapsing pocket or an end speed rush to their advantage.
