    Round: 1st

    Positive: Smart

    Negative: Disengage

    Run: Above Average

    Pass Rush: Above Average

    Coverage: Average

    Instincts: Above Average

Other Spots: None (some have suggested 4-3 DE)

    Nice speed

    Changes directions well

    Relentless Pass Rusher, plays hard

    Could drop a few pounds

    Strong

    Not elite tackler

    Anthony Spencer II IMO

I actually think he is a reverse conversion guy. May be a better rusher in the pro's as a 4-3 DE

Type of prospect I wouldnt hate if we drafted him, but wouldnt love it either. Fairly safe pick and will be a solid #2 rusher

  3. Spencer is a great comparison. He isn't an elite pass rusher.

But what do you think about Upshaw sticking his hand in the dirt?

I call him a Bizzaro Conversion Guy, because I think he could be a 3-4 college guy that is best suited to play in a 4-3 in the pros. I think he could be a KVB

  5. I'd rather have him as a 3-4 OLB. He does have alot of experience playing DE in college. I just think he is a much better player rushing from the LB spot and not competing so much in an enclosed area. JMO.

Thats an excellent comparison and i agree! I love him as a player, he's not a great pass rusher but a good one. He's just so strong and physical i think he'd have more value in a 4-3, he'd get effort sacks.

  7. cover the spread

    cover the spread beastin'

I feel at worst he'd be a Calvin Pace type of OLB. Him and Kuechly are the two safest defensive players in the draft imo.

He's not he best pass-rusher in the draft but he is the best all around 3-4 OLB/conversion prospect. It would be interesting to see if a 4-3 team uses him as a blizing LB, sort of like how the G-Men use Kiwi.
