Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III of Baylor may not throw Sunday at the NFL scouting combine, but he still left an impression. RGIII opened this morning's drills by blazing two 40-yard dashes in 4.41 and 4.38 seconds, both unofficial times (official ones will be provided later in the day). Assuming the 4.38 clocking holds up, it will be the fastest by a quarterback in at least 12 years, per NFL Network. Stanford's Andrew Luck will run later today (he won't throw, either), though he'll likely be in the 4.7 range. Griffin III has a track background, and his open-field running ability is the main aspect that differentiates him from Luck, the presumed top pick of the 2012 draft. Source: USA Today
i'm sure his measurables are going to be off the charts ................ the things i'm going to be more concerned with won't be able to get measured until he plays in the league for a while ......... i'm more interested in finding out about his mental make-up and we won't really know what that is for at least a year or 2.
The TAMU QB ran a 4.3 a few years back, but it was pure straight line Sent by HTC Vivid using Tapatalk
A lot of Texas locals on the homer board actually thought that was slow for him. Give his track record, a lot of them thought he would be in the 4.2s Sent by HTC Vivid using Tapatalk
