Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis has parted ways with agent Kennard McGuire, ESPN's Josina Anderson reports. According to Anderson, the split was amicable. According to NFLPA records, Hillis has not yet hired a replacement. Following his breakout 2010 season, where he ran for 1,177 yards and 12 touchdowns and scored the cover of EA Sports' "Madden '12" video game, Hillis replaced his original agent, Jimmy Sexton, with Kelli Masters, who was soon replaced by McGuire. Hillis did not receive the multi-year extension he had been seeking and was left to play out the season under a $600,000 base salary, when the 2011 season started, Hillis missed six games with injuries and illness, that latter of which raised questions about whether or not he was overly concerned with his contract. And the Steelers will shake and tremble as he lines up behind Colt McCoy time and time again, and runs Steelers over like they are ragdolls ;) okay maybe not.
Never did before...lol. I don't think he's ever rushed for over 50 against the Steelers and I think one game he was under 20. Ragdolls. :2bang9hj:
well, it's obvious Hillis thinks his value is of a top 10 back value and he's looking for that big $40 mill contract with $20 mill signing bonus .................... i don't think he's going to get it ........... from anyone.
You're right Captain. And he's only hurting his stock. I just heard some comments on the radio that he is considering retirement?
Wait really, if he retires thats just pathetic. Why? Because nobody wants your sorry ass? Sign some short term contract for 1-2 years at value, and prove your god **mn worth.
