Colts owner Jim Irsay has promised $50,000 to the relief efforts for tornado victims in southern Indiana. A severe storm front leveled parts of several states on Friday, killing at least 38 people. The worst damage appeared centered in the small towns of southern Indiana and eastern Kentucky’s Appalachian foothills. The Colts announced Irsay’s pledge on Saturday. They also asked others to help in any way they can.

I don't see why this is funny. There was A LOT of damage done to the area and lots of folks are displaced. The man has been painted in a not so awesome light as of late. Let him have his moment of folks realizing he isn't a complete and total douche bag. It's more than Peyton's doing for the area.

I live in Indiana and yeah, the damage is pretty bad. But, 50k isn't really going to do crap. However, he is doing SOMETHING. So that, at least, is a good thing. I'd just think he could do more.

i'm glad irsay donated some money for the clean-up. i would hope all of the wealthy leaders of that area would pony up some money to help the victims.

I'm not saying $50k is the right amount or if it should have been more but I did some math and, if irsay and i donated equal %'s of our net worth, this would be equal to me donating $2.78. Personally, I would feel odd donating $2.78 if I were entrenched as a big name leader in a community that was just devastated but each to his own.
