The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced the re-signing of veteran offensive tackle Guy Whimper. Terms were not disclosed. A 2006 fourth-round pick out of East Carolina by the New York Giants, Whimper appeared in 30 games over three seasons (2008 was spent on injured reserve) before he was released prior to the start of the 2010 season. Signed by the Jaguars midway through the 2010 season, the 6-foot-5, 302-pound Whimper started one game (against the Giants) before starting 15 games at right tackle in 2011.
