I went down last year to boo Werth with a huge bus group. It was a blast & a sellout of Phils fans. My seats were right next to the visiting club's bullpen in left field. It was the most fun EVER at an away game!

I don't see why this makes them pussies. They want their fans in the park, I doubt half those tickets sell anyways so Philly fans still get their home away from home.

well, if you want your own fans in the stadium you might want to put a better product on the field right ?

Sure but the Nationals are at least trying, they pour big money at big names every year, they just don't want to go to DC. I don't think its a huge deal to sell tickets to your fans first in an attempt to get home field "advantage" back.

its a cat move to try and highjack tix that your own fanbase isnt buying to begin with. again, this is something phillies fans dealt with when it came to greaseball mets fans bying up big amounts of tix at the vet when the phillies were horrible for years.

it got fixed by putting a better product on the field along with a better venue.

I suppose so, but if nobody is buying it, is it really going to matter if they put the tix on sale earlier for fans?

it wont matter in this case because phillies fans will get their hands on the tix anyway.
