Mark Sanchez, who agreed to a three-year contract extension with the New York Jets on Friday night, has some words for all the unnamed sources who criticized him and the locker room during last year's 8-8 struggle. "If you're a unnamed source... you don't really speak for the team," Sanchez said to the New York Daily News. Sanchez's extension for $40.5 million should embolden him because it means the Jets won't be pursuing Peyton Manning or anyone else as his replacement in New York. Perhaps that lucrative vote of confidence from Jets management sparked Sanchez to address his anonymous detractors head on. Source: National Football Post
