The Washington Redskins are cutting veteran safety O.J. Atogwe, Mike Jones of The Washington Post reports. Following his release by the St. Louis Rams last February, Atogwe signed a five-year, $26 million contract with the Redskins. That deal included $9.4 million in guarantees, though only $7.4 million was guaranteed, all of which was paid in the first year of the contract. During his seven-year career, Atogwe, who turns 31 in June, has 450 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 25 interceptions. Source: Mac's Football Blog
