Pro Football Weekly reports that the San Diego Chargers have signed WR Robert Meachem to a four-year contract. This comes as a surprise considering that previous reports mentioned that the Bills were close to signing both Meachem and Mario Williams. San Diego lost Vincent Jackson to the Buccaneers today so getting some additional help at receiver makes sense but it's hard to imagine Meachem being as effective as Jackson was for them in the previous years.

Always liked Meachem but I am not really sad to see him go, too inconsistent but I hope he does well in San Diego I like him and I want him to succeed.
