The New York Jets have reached agreement with free agent safety LaRon Landry on a one-year, $4 million contract, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. A first-round pick out of LSU by the Washington Redskins in 2007, Landry has 383 tackles, 5.5 sacks, four interceptions, six forced fumbles and 31 passes defensed during his five-year career. An instant Pro Bowler, Landry has missed 15 games over the last two seasons with Achilles and groin injuries. I think this picture shows why people would think he could be a LB with all the muscle he put on, he looks more like a LB than a SS
With all that muscle build up you of course increase your strength and hitting ability but it also seems like your speed and agility would suffer greatly
