The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms on a four-year contract with free agent running back Michael Bush, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports. According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, the deal is worth $14 million and contains $7 million in guarantees. Bush was a fourth round pick out of Louisville by the Oakland Raiders in 2007. After missing his rookie season due to a leg injury from college, Bush has 632 carries for 2,642 yards and 21 touchdowns over the last four seasons. Bush had a career-high 977 rushing yards and 37 receptions for 418 receiving yards last season and has scored 15 rushing touchdowns over the last two seasons. Source: Mac's Football Blog
Besides the Eric Weems signing, I LOVE this signing. This should take some of the work load off of Forte's shoulders.
I don't know why Raiders let this guy leave if that is the kind of money he was going to make. What a steal for the Bears.
yep, bush is a good rotational guy. if the forte thing goes to hell, they can get another decent rb and have a decent backfield.
