New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton will lose more than $5.8 million during his suspension by the NFL, ESPN reported Friday, citing unnamed sources. A league official to told ESPN that Payton's suspension will end after the Super Bowl, which will be played Feb. 3, 2013 in New Orleans. Payton's suspension, which begins April 1, will last a little more than 10 months. Although Payton didn’t administer the bounty program, he lied to the league in saying he wasn’t aware of it, according to the NFL investigation,he also allowed the program to continue after the league confronted the Saints about the bounties in 2009.
