NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell might allow Sean Payton to coach the Saints while he appeals his season-long suspension for his role in the team’s bounties program. “I said in a letter they have to appeal by April 2, I believe,†Goodell said Monday at the owners meetings in Palm Beach, Fla. “If he decides to appeal, I probably will allow him to continue and I would expedite the hearing and I would expedite my decision. Payton’s agent, Donald Yee, said "We did meet twice and went through the information. If he has something else for me to consider, I will. No decisions have been made about an appeal†by his client. “Sean fully supports the league’s player safety goals,†Yee said. “Given this, he probably won’t address the entire league†when he arrives at the owners meetings.

Wow. What a joke of a man. I think his goal in life is to make Bug Selig look like an awesome commissioner.

Bud Selig: My MVP who was just crowned got caught doing steroids.

Roger Goodell: Oh yeah!? Well there's been a bounty system in the NFL for the last 6 seasons at least where players were paid to injure other players!

Bud Selig: Okay, okay. Well, we let our cheating MVP keep his title AND didn't suspend him for 50 games like the rules say!

Roger Goodell: Screw, that's a good one. Well, well. I'm going to let Sean Payton coach while we go over his appeal. And who knows how long that'll take!? AND then we'll not cause a ruckus when he gets hired by Fox for the season to be an analyst! SUCK THAT SELIG!
