Free agent linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar announced on Monday that he has signed with the St. Louis Rams. Dunbar was a more than capable replacement for New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma this past season when Vilma missed several games because of injury.Dunbar posted this on his Twitter account: "I'm excited nervous & happy to 2 ba a Ram. Im blessed for the opportunity. Id like 2 thk god 1st NOLA & Saints Thk u 4 making my dreams come true. "2 STL winning is everything & the only thing. I'm ready to give my ALL each & every day. Word hard, Hard work." The Saints signed two linebackers earlier in free agency - Curtis Lofton from the Atlanta Falcons and Chris Chamberlain from the St. Louis Rams. The Saints now have lost four starters from the 2011 season in free agency: receiver Robert Meachem to the Chargers, cornerbacker Tracy Porter to the Broncos and guard Carl Nicks to the Buccaneers.

Rams got them a linebacker that is for sure. Would have rather let Vilma go and keep him. He is just coming into his prime and was ready to take over.
