Former Chargers quarterback Ryan Leaf will stay in a Montana jail a while longer while Texas prosecutors work with their Montana counterparts to revoke his probation on 2010 drug charges. Probation and Parole Office regional administrator Dawn Handa told the Great Falls Tribune that the 30-day hold gives authorities needed time to send information between states. Leaf, who spent time with the Chargers, Cowboys and Seahawks, was arrested Friday and again Monday on separate allegations that he broke into homes and stole prescription medication. Probation officials placed a 72-hour hold on Leaf after the second arrest. It was extended Tuesday. Source: North County Times
He needs to be put in a year long rehab facility after he is released. All he will be is a clean junkie. He needs a total mental overhaul.
if he wants help, and really wants help, there is hope. But he has to want to. Deep down want to. Thing is I heard him say that his football injuries is what is making him like that. You build up resistance if you take pain meds for some time. Either take more or get a higher dose. When that fails you try a different drug. Soon nothing helps. And it happens with my mom. She has Rheumatoid Arthritis in her back, neck, shoulder, every joint hurts like hell. And she has taken pain pills for so long they are no longer effective. Thank God for Medicaid and Medicare or she would be hecked. The story is that he is doing stupid crap to get pills to kill his pain. Maybe he will wake up before he won't wake up permanently.
you never watched old cowboy movies? Dem injuns would stake you out over an anthill. flay your skin, tie a strip of wet leather tight around your throat and watch you choke to death. All city folks did was not wash for months at a time.
Gotta watch High Chaparral. But there is nothing like a John Wayne or Clint Eastwood cowboy flick. Or any of John Wayne's military movies. The Duke rules!!!!
