The audio tapes of New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams instructing his players to target certain body parts of San Francisco 49ers players were supposed to remain private, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports. Documentary filmmaker Sean Pamphilon was not authorized to release the tapes, which were recorded to one day be presented to the son of former Saints safety Steve Gleason, who is suffering from ALS. Gleason was visiting a doctor in the Bay Area and had invited Pamphilon to join him. Both were present in the room, but the understanding was that any recording were not for public consumption. Gleason is expected to release a public statement this afternoon, but current Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins has already reacted angrily to the situation. "Sean Pamphilon is a coward and should be ashamed for taking advantage of Steve Gleason! How much did u get paid for that audio?", Jenkins wrote on Twitter.

Why would you let them tape things you know you're not supposed to do? It's just stupidity.
