The Baltimore Ravens and restricted free agent cornerback Lardarius Webb have agreed to terms on a six-year contract, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports. Financial terms were not disclosed. A 2009 third-round pick out Nicholls State, started 15 games in 2011 -- his first as a full-time starter, and recorded 67 tackles, one sack and five interceptions with 20 passes defensed. For his career, Webb has started 19 of 45 games, totaling 156 tackles, two sacks, seven interceptions and 35 passes defensed with 26.4-yard average on 37 kick returns and 9.8-yard average on 51 punt returns. Webb's deal is worth $50 million, including a $10 million signing bonus, according to NFL Network's Albert Breer. NFL.com news: Lardarius Webb agrees to six-year, $50M deal with Ravens
He'll make $18 million in the deal's first two years, and $33.5 million in the first four. haha. no wonder reed is having a temper tantrum. this deal dwarfs what he's getting offered. what reed is not admitting at this point, though, is that webb had a solid year in 2011 and is now viewed as a top 10 cb and top 10 cb's make a LOT more than top 10 safetys.
