Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno To Begin Season On PUP List?

Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post believes Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno will not be “cleared to participate fully in training camp or even early in the season.â€￾ Legwold even mentions that there’s a chance that he could start the season on the PUP list which would force him to miss the first six weeks of the 2012 season. Moreno, 24, is recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered last season. He was arrested back in February for a DUI so obviously the Broncos have to be concerned about him moving forward. Legwold adds that the Broncos are still looking for depth at the running back position and sees them targeting someone in the draft.

WOW that has looked pretty good....when hes PLAYED. At this point id say hes a bust even at 24.

 

Do the Broncos go outside the box and take a RB early on?

 

At this point they might have to. Do they have a legit young backup that can develop into a starter?

 

UNless they want to go to the well with McGahee one more time or roll the dice with Moreno...neither of which I would do...

 

And its not like Manning is going to be there forever to make an average running back look great like he did with addai.

 

Maybe they bring Addai in later...
