Longtime Tampa Bay Buccaneers employee Jill Hobbs was recognized for her 35 years of service to the organization on Friday. In addition to presenting Hobbs with a framed No. 35 jersey, Buccaneers co-chairman Bryan Glazer presented Hobbs with a check for $35,000, Roy Cummings of The Tampa Tribune reports. "I was thrilled just to get the jersey, because those are special," Hobbs said. "Those are saved for the elite, for the players. When he gave me the check I was like, 'Oh, my God.' It was shocking." Hobbs has filled various roles within the organization since she was hired on April 15, 1977, including the key role as executive assistant to the general manager, and is currently the Player Benefits & Alumni Programs Manager.
