Former second overall draft pick Ryan Leaf has been charged with four felonies stemming from allegations that he broke into homes to steal prescription medication, according to the Associated Press. Prosecutors charged Leaf Thursday with two counts of burglary and two counts of criminal possession of a dangerous drug. Leaf was first arrested for breaking into a home of an acquaintance to steal oxycodone. He was released on bail, but arrested again for attempting to burglarize another home for the same drug two days later. If convicted, Leaf faces a maximum 50 years in prison.
