According to Mark Sanchez, people waiting for friction between him and Tim Tebow must keep waiting. With the New York Jets’ offseason program underway, Sanchez and Tebow have been working together for almost a week. Speaking at an appearance in White Plains, N.Y., Sanchez said the workout sessions have been fun and productive. “He’s been as advertised, as good of a guy, if not better, than anybody said,†via the New York Post. “So, he’s been a great addition so far. I’m thrilled to work with him.†Sanchez pointed to Tebow’s work in the weight room as something that set an example. “From a competitor standpoint, he’s great,†Sanchez said. “He’s what you want in an offseason program—working hard, competing with the guy in the weight room. This is a big, strong guy, so it’s good for me. That’s been one of my goals this offseason—putting on a little more muscle mbutt. I’ve taken a beating during the season. It’s been a good transition and Tim’s been great.†If Tebow’s presence helps push Sanchez to another level, the Jets will embrace that development. Source: Sporting News
