The Eagles have been linked to a number of quarterbacks during the pre-draft process, but according to general manager Howie Roseman the team is plenty confident in its franchise signal caller in Michael Vick according to Chris McPherson of PhiladelphiaEagles.com. "We have so much confidence in Michael Vick leading our team. The way that he works and the determination he has, we're all in with Michael," Roseman said during a roundtable session with reporters on Thursday. "Michael is still a young quarterback. He looks great to me. He's healthy and he's determined. We feel very lucky to have him as our franchise quarterback. Everyone wants to find a quarterback. You talk about the history and the league as it is now, it's a passing league and you don't feel very confident that you can win in the long term if you don't have that guy." Source: The Redzone
They have no choice. They dealt the only other QB they had and signed Vick to a huge contract. They are tied to him for at least two more years. What the heck else is he gonna say??? Who the heck else could they consider? Edwards? Kafka?
It sucks because they really had no choice after the year he had in 2010, but he had made NO progress since then. He really is just past the point of being teachable.
they need to be all in with Vick. I dont see anyone else on this team that can carry it into the playoffs
2010 was an all pro year. 2011 was a down year. Let's see what 2012 brings before throwing him to the dogs(see what I did there?)
