Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reports that a league source has informed him that Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is “pushing†for them to take Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill. Ross is reportedly trying to “turn the page†on what has a been a very disappointing last few seasons for the Dolphins franchise. Losing out on Jeff Fisher, Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn only helped to exasperated their strained relationship with the teams’ fanbase. Tannehill has been rumored to be the target of the Dolphins for a number of months now, but there’s still a chance that they may have to trade up to prevent someone like the Chiefs from snatching away. Dolphins offensive coordinator Mike Sherman coached Tannehill a few years ago so there’s obviously a deeper connection beyond their immediate needs. Source: NFL Trade Rumors
