Jets QB Tim Tebow To Be Used On Punt Team

When the New York Jets acquired quarterback Tim Tebow via trade, they indicated they would use him in a number of different roles. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jets have told Tebow that they plan to use him on special teams as the punt protector.

If I needed a 1st down conversion badly enough to fake a punt, I would let one of the lineman throw it before I let Tebow get his hands on it.
