The New England Patriots conducted a private workout with Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright this week, Greg Bedard of The Boston Globe reports. A four-year starter at Baylor, Wright caught 302 passes for 4,004 yards and 30 touchdowns during his 50-game career. The 5-foot-10, 196-pound Wright ran 4.61 in the 40-yard dash at the Combine, but plays fast and was timed in the 4.4 range at his pro day on March 21. Wright had reliable hands and demonstrated the ability to find spaces in opposing defenses, which should make him a very effective target on third downs at the next level. Source: Mac's Football Blog
