With the 41st overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Bills select Cordy Glenn, OT (Georgia). Glenn is an athletic big man who is fluid when pulling and gets upfield with ease. He is an effective mirror blocker who shows good technique by sitting into his base and controlling defenders. He is aware of stunts and blitzes and usually picks them up with ease. He is a big body who has been a durable starter for Georgia. Source: NFL.com
Come on Buffalo. What the hell you doing? Drafted a guard when we need a OT or WR. He only played tackle a little bit at Georgia because of injury. He is a guard, to slow to play tackle. Should have went with Stephen Hill. Stevie Johnson is going to be doubled every game now.
fwiw Glenn played OT because we needed him there not because of injuries. I do think he can play RT in the NFL possibly.
He is a better guard though. Which is good. We will have one of the best interior O-lines, with Glenn, Wood and LeVitre. Buddy Nix really likes Chris Hairston and that is why i think he drafted Glenn because he can play guard or tackle depending on how Hairston plays. I think WR was a bigger need, with Hill and Jeffrey still on the board at that time.
